The Maternal and Child Health Line is a 24-hour, 7 day a week statewide telephone service available to families with children birth to school age.
Call 13 22 29 throughout Victoria for the cost of a local call.
The service is able to connect Culturally and Linguistically Diverse families to female interpreters from the Translating Interpreter Service.
The service is also available to hearing or speech impaired callers who have access to the National Relay Service (NRS).
The service is staffed by qualified maternal and child health nurses who provide information, support and advice regarding child health, nutrition, breast feeding, maternal and family health and parenting.
